He will be fine, Denise!!! My grandpa has had this done a couple of times... as you said, it's a very common procedure.

thank you very much. Yeah i was just worried bc one doc said with the fact that hes been bleeding so much bc of the hemorrhoids, which is why he had 6 pints of blood when we admitted him, instead of the normal 18 pints...They were afraid he might bleed out bc of it. But ill have confidence that these docs know how to handle that. After the angioplasty, he still has to stay in the hospital to have hemorrhoid surgery.

Everything will be fine. It's common to be nervous. I was nervous about my moms surgery. But he is in good hands.

********UPDATE************** im surprised but my dad is going into surgery NOW. I am gonna go after work and hopefully by then his surgery will be over with and awake from the anesthesia. He said there are SO many doctors that are going to be in the operating room so thats a good sign. Im a bit nervous but it is a common procedure so staying positive

Denise -- I see they wasted no time now that he is at LH. Waiting makes everything so much worse.

He is in good hands. Are they doing the angioplasty through his leg? That is how my grandfather had his done -- you would be surprised how fast recovery can be.

i dont know if it will be through his leg but i think most likely it will be...i dont know its crazy bc my mom called and said my dad was going into surgery soon and meanwhile i was waiting to see what the doctors will say what theyre going to do ya know lol. I called him quickly and got to talk to him for like 2 minutes before he went in. Mostly said good luck and that stuff
