Finding and buying THE dress

Ladies, where did you find your wedding dress, and where did you end up buying your wedding dress?

I've been going to smaller places because that's where friends and family said they bought their dresses, but I've found that they don't have a large selection of dresses to choose from. I'm all about getting the best dress for the best price, but can't seem to find my dress! Where should I be looking?

I found my dress first at the bridal suite if centereach was going to buy it there till I found it that Kleinfelds carried it so I bought it there.

Places I had good experiences at with large sections were bridal suitefof centereach, renates in Lindenhurst, Fantasia in Rocky point, and Estelle(big selection but not your typical bridal experience fyi) I'm also plus size so im going based on them having plus sizes. Oh also RK bridal in Manhattan!!

Check out Estelle's! They have a lot of dresses and you don't need an appointment!

I am going to attempt Davids Bridal Massapequa....Also lillettes is more personalized service but I think the type of dress I want I am better off at Davids.

I tried on about 60 dresses before I found the one. I liked the selections best at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa, Bridal Suite of Bayshore, and Wedding Salon of Manhasset (thats where I found 'the one')

I tried on a about 100 dresses. I ended up finding my dress at RK bridal. The place is a zoo but the sales girls are helpful, they have a huge selection and will beat any quote you bring in on a written form.

I found and bought my dress and veil at Macy's on Lake Grove. I had only gone to David's Bridal before that because I knew they'd have a lot of dress in different cuts and colors that I could try on. Then I went to Macy's and fell in LoVe with my dress!

I found mine at Macys bridal in Manhattan. You should also check RK bridal. The first time you go there it's a zoo. But the second time you go you make an appointment. Your best bet when you decide on going somewhere to look for TheDress, see what designers they carry. I looked on line and printed out dresses that I liked. That way I have an idea of what I will be trying on. Also try on so e outside of the box. You'll be surprised. Good luck and don't get discouraged. You'll know it's the dress the moment you put it on.
