Finding out about taxes - Who do you call?

Danielle and I want to find out the real taxes on this house that we are interested in. Does anyone know who we are supposed to call?

Thanks,
Scott

Yes call the accessors office in the town you are buying. This is public info and they will tell you when you give them the address.

Or if it's in Nassau you can look it up on My Nassau Property

For NYC, you can get them on the Dept of Finance Website. You need to know the 'Borough, Block and Lot.'

You should search both property taxes and for water/sewer.
