FINDING SOMEONE....HOW???

For all those who have read my other post about my mothers fiance, I have yet another dilemma. I wish we were able just to mourn and grieve over a lost loved one but logistics always enter into the situation. Thing is is that he had a son that he hadnt dealt with in over 20 years but this son is considered to be his next of kin which in return poses a problem for us because his wishes were to be cremated and without having the next of kin found..we cannot fulfill his wishes. This of course is hurting my mother even more..I tried the white pages and I know his last residence was Florida but I have no idea what town or city. I came up with 91 names that I can try to call but I only have a certain amount of time..he needs to send a notarized letter that he is the son of the deceased...

Is there anyone out there that knows other ways to find people? Maybe a part of their jobs? Any other ideas?? Im open to anything..I just want to fulfill his wishes and make my mother happy in any way possible.

Hmmm - I wish I could help - Is it a common name? Have you tried typing his name into google, maybe along with his occupation? Do you know his wife's name (if he has one)?

do you know anything about him? schools he went to? where he works? you could type the name in google and see what comes up, but without more info to narrow the results, it may be tough (especially if its a common name)

seems like there should be something among the fathers papers that would help. Does he have a will? Did he not put his cremation instructions there?
