Finding the perfect gown... - Long Island Weddings

I can't wait to find the perfect dress. I haven't tried any dresses yet and I'm getting married next April. I have so many ideas, so many types of dresses I want to try on. I'm trying to pick a store to start with. There is one particular dress that I found somewhere online months ago but I can't remember where. I haven't seen it in any website or anything. I wish I could post a picture of it because I wanted to know if anyone has seen it. If anyone knows where I can find it so I can try it on.

Has anyone seen this dress anywhere or where I can find it. I found this picture somewhere online months ago and can't remember where. I finally tried on dresses yesterday and now I'm dying to at least try this one on. Please help!!

Finding the perfect gown... - Long Island Weddings

Thank you ladies for your responses. I was so upset today I took my mom to show her the dress I loved and of course I get stuck with a girl working there who said it was her 2nd day and couldn't figure out how to get it on me... it was all bunched up and everything it was a horrible experience... I was so frustrated. It looked nothing like it did on me last weekend. I def. think I have to try on more and see if another bridal shop has this dress and hopefully I'll have a better experience.

Re: Finding the perfect gown...

I only tried on about 15 gowns total. maybe 20. I had actually found my gown at the first store I went to, but said yes the following week when I went to village bridal.

I knew it was the one because I got that 'wow' feeling when I put it on. I felt like it transformed my body and I didn't even recognize myself in it. it was the complete opposite of what I thought I was going to get.

I cried when I said yes! so did my mom and my MOHs.

Finding the perfect gown...

I knew immediately. I had pinned a few dresses and wrote down the style names/numbers (OCD bride here) and I had a feeling that a particular dress was going to be 'it' and it was! I tried on 4 before mine, and had no emotion for the first 4. The minute I was in mine and and looked in the mirror I cried... My cousin made sure to take ugly crying face pics in my dress hahaha

Finding the perfect gown...

I had ideas of what I wanted but was unsure of what would look good on me. When I put the ONE on I was like wow I went to the mirror and looked and shed a few tears and I felt like a princess. I'm going back Presidents Day to try it on again one more time and I can't wait. I look at it one the computer at times and I get all excited and wowed. I just know it's the ONE

I tried on over 100 dresses. The first dress I was put into was $2500 over my budget, but it was beautiful. I didn't know the price until I put it on, and of course, couldn't afford it.

From that point on, nothing compared. I was so bummed, thought I'd have to settle for an 'ok' dress.

I found another dress with similar detail to the one I loved. It is a Tara Keely, which is not a widely carried designer. So, while I had 2 salons attempt to locate a sample, I kept looking. It literally took me 4 months and 7 or 8 trips to salons to find my dress. I probably went to about 10-12 salons.

Finally, one of the salons located a sample, I went in, and I just knew it was it. It felt like it was me.

I bought a Tara Keely too and LOVE it!

Which one?! The one I got was a few seasons old, I think it's Spring 2012, and I've literally never seen anything like it.

TK2161 if you look it up its with a huge black sash but im using a rhinestone belt.
