I wasn't planning on it bc we have a co-op with nowhere to store it but then I found a set I LOVEDDDDD and I figured - how else would I ever get this? It's so expensive, I might as well register for it lol

My family has a tradition with the Jewish Holidays - so I'm hoping down the line that I can take over - and this would require china and crystal (at least for the first couple of years!)

Yeah, I registered for it. I'm getting Waterford brocade.

It is gorgeous

I wasn't going to, but I see how much my uses it now and she definitely doesn't have the money to get it now that she's been married 30 years - I figure get it now, or live w/out it forever bc life happens and ur never gonna just have $2K lying around for plates and crystal. Just my two cents

Nope I can't see storing something I just don't see a use for. My mother had Chinese that never came out

Yes, we have lived in our co-op for 2 years now and are totally stocked with everyday, and as a previous poster said, I can't imagine having the money to purchase it myself when I finally need it in a few years

No, I asked all my friends and family that got it and they said they barely use it and that it's a waste so I just put a nice casual set on there.

Re: FIne China

I didnt, instead we got a 'fancier' set, we figure once we move into a house one day, we'll get a fine china setting, bc with the apartment that we get (depending on how big it will be) there will be no place to store it! haha
