Finished my DIY Cardbox.. W PICS!

It definitely was harder than expected but I love the way it came out.

Hey girls.. sorry it took me so long to reply... have been really busy.

I bought decorative storage boxes instead of the paper mache boxes because it was more durable. I waited until they went on sale at michaels and bought three individual rectangle boxes that stacked nicely. I bought satin ivory spray paint and sprayed the whole box individually... it looks streaky at first but dried perfect. once it dried i cut the bottoms out of the top two boxes and the top of the bottom two boxes and made a slit for cards to enter and hot glued everything together. I then sponge painted white acrylic paint to it to give it an imperfect look. I bought ribbon by the yard, tied it around and applied a brooche to the middle. the only part of the box that opens is that top flap.. everything else was hot glued shut!

all together i probably spent around 40 bucks plus labor.... not too bad!
