Fire Island Reality show cancelled

I think most of you know why this interests me.

'ONE OCEAN VIEW' AXED. ABC has yanked the Fire Island-set reality show 'One Ocean View' from its Monday schedule, effective next week. The show's first two episodes drew weak ratings. It will be replaced by repeats of 'Supernanny.'

Part of me is because I heard it was so bad but other other part of me feels badly because you had to be out of your house for them to film that crappy show.

Yeah we're back in now, but not without drama, delay, etc. I have to laugh now at our landlord thinking that this was so important and special.

I do feel bad b/c we were engaged in that house and now there's been so much turmoil over that house. People called the cops on the production when it got annoying, etc, etc! I'm sad that we won't be renting that house again next summer but I know we have to stick with that decision and rent from someone else. Too bad I can't say it's time for us to buy a place out there. That's not something we can swing after having put so much into our regular house!!

Come visit before summer is over, ladies! We need an LIW beach day/party night!

I didn't realize that you were going to stop renting that house but that completely makes sense after what you dealt with.

We put up with a lot even in the past. This was the straw that broke the camel's back. There are some people who think that we should still just grin and bear it. But DH is not signing another lease for this house.

I feel so bad that they did all of that to you Kerie, and then the show ends up getting cancelled!!!

Oh well, at least you know they won't be bothering you again!!!!!!

I have to say after reading about your house being the house they used...I was curious when I caught it on

After not even watching it for five minutes I had to turn it off. I was not a fan!!!

Some possibilities but nothing really in the works. I'm open to suggestions!
