Hi Ladies, Does anyone know anything about getting married in a church on Fire Island, or having the reception on Fire Island? Has anyone ever been to a wedding there? I've googled many things and haven't really found much. It is really beautiful there and we would really be interested in finding out some info. Hoping for a summer 2011 wedding.

I know on Kismet there is the Inn and The Out -Im pretty sure one of them changed there name. I know i have seen day time brides over there in the summer time when i come off the ferry!! I love it there!! Rent out a beach house and have it on the deck!! My uncle lives there and maybe he can give me some good suggestions if you let me know how many people you are planning to have.

we might actually be doing the same thing. We are looking into the pier restaurant at watch hill. The ferry leaves from Patchogue. I believe you can also charter teh ferry for a special time for your guests. The casino at Davis Park also hosts weddings.
my fh is totally into this as his parents have a house at davis park. there is also a church at davis park adn Father frank from hope house is the priest.
