Fires out in Ridge... need those famous LIW prayers!!!

Ladies I am in need of those famous LIW prayers right now!! FH and I are members of the Selden FD and I'm stuck at work right now and he has been called in to be on stand-by to help with the raging brush fires out in ridge right now. There are over 30 departments out there helping and on stand-by to help. Please keep these amazing men and women in your prayers tonight and into tomorrow. As of right now there is over 2000 acres of forest up in flames and 30 houses in danger of burning. There are departments responding from as far west as Massapequa and as far east as Montauk. I will be going to the Fire House when I leave work so that I can stay informed. But ladies keep your fingers crossed for FH and all of our brave men and women out there right now!!!

edited for updates

I saw the smoke from Port Jefferson! I'll keep them in my thoughts and prayers. It's so terrible.

I live about 5 miles away from the fires. It seems to be OK right now. It's amazing how many fire companies responded. We drove down 25 where there were literally 20 different departments sitting on the side of the road in all their trucks waiting to help out. They closed down William FLoyd Parkway but it seems like everything is as under control as possible right now. Keep your fingers crossed LIW!

They've been going soo long. My thoughts and prayers are with the men and women helping, the residents, and also the poor horses that are in danger out there. I just saw this on facebook...

EVACUATION HELP NEEDED AT THREE MANORVILLE HORSE FARMS IMMEDIATELY DUE TO BRUSH FIRES. OVER 110 HORSES IN TROUBLE. IF YOU HAVE A HORSE TRAILER OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES, PLEASE CALL CHUCK RIGHT AWAY AT 631-553-6758.
