First attempt at menu card...what do u think?

Hi! I'm trying my hand at designing our menu cards...my first attempt is in my album (on 2 pages since I couldn't scale it)

I'd like to send a special thanks to MimiMCG...thanks to her help I've learned to upload fonts and do my monogram (also my first attempt and on the menu card)



I'm not totally wedded to the designs (no pun intended!), so please feel free to criticize and advise!!!

hmm... well to be honest it's a little confusing and choppy imo with all the different designs between each item.... maybe try to simplify it a little? Unless the designs match your theme or something?

I sort of agree ... it seems like there's too much. Maybe instead of a whole row of the designs, just put one centered?

my suggestions would be to center everything and also use the same line designs between each part.

ETA: for the monogram at top, it looks like you and fh's names are diff sizes. I would adjust that and put the M larger behind both of your names. The monogram should be a big bigger in proportion to the menu items IMO.

Great for first attempt at anything like this.
