So I'm super frustrated...we have our room block at the hotel that's attached to our venue but they'll only give us 20 rooms at the block rate...after that our guests have to pay their regular rate which is $400/night! I think that's completely insane...one of the reasons we booked a more expensive venue was because we didn't need to book a shuttle for our guests who are staying but now it looks like we're going to have to cancel our room block at the Hyatt and go down the block to the holiday inn causing us the extra expense of the shuttle...they won't budge on the 20 rooms and for a wedding of 150 it's just completely unrealistic...I'm hoping I can figure this all out but this is the first time I feel overly stressed! =(

Try using Kleinfelds hotel block to check other hotels nearby. Mine offers a free shuttle. There has to be one nearby that does too. And by using Kleinfelds hotel block u don't have to do any leg work so it will be stress free!!

I'm using the Hyatt also. What I ended up doing was book 20 rooms there and 200 rooms at the Hilton 10 minutes away
