What should we get FI's cousin for his first communion? I hate bonds because I think their appreciation rate is poor so any other suggestions are highly welcome !!

why dont you get her a nice pair of earrings or a cross. i still have the jewerly people gave me for my communion when the money or bonds are long gone. i hope this helps. on another post someone said that alot of the big jewerly stores like kay are having sales

I agree about a savings bond. For a child of First Communion age, it's not worth it IMO. Girls are easier b/c you can buy little trinkets. If it was me, I'd just give money, how's that for uncreative? I guess I'm not much help here
