Our Catholic granddaughter will have her first communion this Saturday. We need advice for an appropriate gift from her Jewish grandparents.

Re: First Communion Gift Help
Usually, money or savings bonds are given for first communions.

Re: First Communion Gift Help
You could just give her $$ and maybe some flowers. Or you could give her a religious gift if you feel comfortable with that; a necklace with a cross, rosary beads, a bible, a cross to hang in her room, anything that says 'My First Communion' like a picture frame or figurine.
Hope that helps!

Re: First Communion Gift Help
I got her a girls bead bracelet that says Faith, Love, and has a cross. We'd like to give her a savings bond too. Is $100 bond an appropriate amount from grandparents?

My niece's communion is Saturday- my parents got her a diamond cross and a savings bond
I got her everything she is wearing from dress to veil to tiara to shoes etc. ( she is my goddaughter)
I think a savings bond is a great idea plus the bracelet is perfect

Re: First Communion Gift Help
I always like giving savings bonds for these types of events. She'll be happy later on in life when her parents can present it to her with all that interest it accrued over the years and it'll help her pay for her wedding!
