What is everyone using, or have used for a first dance song?
I've been to different websites on this one and just can't find anything I'm looking for. I really would like to stay away from Counrty (I love Country), but I'm looking for something a little different. Maybe a song not used to often for a first dance song in the light or slow rock area.
When we picked ours it was a little more unique than I think it is now but I still wouldn't consider it a 'standard'. Ours is By Your Side by Sade.

Try looking at other era's- I saw that one bride had my parent's song 'More' as their's and we are using a song from the 70's called 'Shining Star' by the Manhattans.

I'm going to download them all and hopefully come up with a song for our first dance this month.
I was going to use 'I need You' by Faith Hill. I love the song, but my fiance does not much care for it.
