We danced to 'Day by Day' sing by Sinatra. It was a foxtrot song which we were best at when we took our dance lessons. It was upbeat and a great way to start off the reception.
We also had a 'secret' solo dance later too (we just went up onto the dance floor when no one else was up there; everyone was eating) and slow danced to 'What are you doing the rest of your life' (rendition done by Sting and Chris Botti).

We used 'Everything' by Lifehouse for our 1st dance, and had it choreographed by John from Ballroom Dance LI.
We used 'Everything' by Michale Buble for our 2nd dance, but it would work as a 1st dance song too.

ours was always by guy lombardo. It's an old song from the 1940s. All the old people loved it but I think everyone else just thought we were weird
