So FI and I went for our first lesson at Arthur Murray in Bayside. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! I am so happy that we started early so there is no pressure. We were really nervous because the only dance we actually know is the Chicken Dance.
We signed up for 6 private 45-minute lessons, 6 group 45-minute lessons, and unlimited parties.
A party is when all the students come dresses up and dance like an actual party. All the teachers are there and they help you dance.
My favorite is the HUSTLE!!!

very cool...
i have been scoping out studios in manhattan, and we are going to start in march. starting early is key as FH attended a guest night and wound up repeatedly stepping on each others feet!

Isn't it great? FH and I are taking lessons at the Arthur Murray in Bayshore and we look forward to our classes. We like lindy and fox trot.

Congrats!! Have fun!! We took one lesson, and never got around to taking more. And the way things look, I don't think we will before the wedding.

I forgot the funniest part. At one point during the fox trot, I said to FI, 'I feel like I am going to step on your feet.' He replies, 'No, you are not going to.' At that very instant, he stepped on MY FEET and broke half of my toenail off (I was wearing open toed shoes).
