Our first dance is L.O.V.E. by Nat King Cole and we have no idea how to dance and haven't practiced or taken lessons or anything. My wedding is in 6 days. What should I do? I am SCREWED and will make a fool out of myself.

Try practicing these few days. My FH doesn't know how to dance, so I guess I will lead. Slow songs are easy.

we were in the same boat and we practiced and planned out a few things we would do and it worked out really well considering neither one of us can dance

We can't dance either, so we asked the DJ to shorten the song to about a minute and half.
I think its better, since we will just be standing swaying back and forth not much to see.. lol

the beauty about a first dance is that you dont need to know how to dance. Its the emotions people will be looking at not the steps. So you dont have to do some choreographed dance and do all the steps right. Honestly just focus on eachother and the moment. All you have to really do is put your arms around eachother and just sway back and forth, be caught up in the moment rather than steps.

Who cares that you don't know how to dance. My FH will be stepping on my feet the whole time. It's all about the emotion anyway. Plus, you can ask you band or dj to invite other couples on the floor after a minute into the song

I agree, it's about the emotions people will see rather than the steps. We had our DJ invite everyone to join us after a certain part of our song (after two minutes I think). Maybe that will help?

That is such a happy and fun song. Make the best out of it and just go with your emotions. I used that song for the cake cutting . Such a great choice! I have a feeling you both will look fine!
