First dance poll

First dance poll

FH and I have 2 songs. Queens Youre My Best Friend, and Lifehouse's Hanging by a Moment. I recently came across an acoustic version or Hanging by a Moment and FH and I lOOOOOVE it!! Hanging by a Moment just happened to be playing when we met, when we first hung out, when we first kissed, and just basically describes how we were then, and still are. Youre My Best Friend, because he is my BEST friend...we always play that song to eachother....obviously, one is more upbeat than the other... Both have such sentimental value that we call them both our song...Im torn! Hes Torn!

What do you think?

Why don't you get introduced to 'You're My BF' or use that as your recessional and use Lifehouse for first dance?

I'm not familiar with either song, but I would go with the one that you had your first kiss too because it would be nice to share all of your special moments to that song...the other song I don't think would have as much significance..

Why don't you get introduced to 'You're My BF' or use that as your recessional and use Lifehouse for first dance?

thats what im thinking.....but as a homage to FH we were going to be introduced to the ATEAM theme song

what if you use hanging by a moment as your first dance song, and then later in the reception you ask the dj to dedicate you're my best friend from you to FH?

my bro did that at his wedding, he dedicated she's got a way by billy joel and my SIL always says that was her favorite part of her whole wedding b/c she didn't know he was gonna do it and she thought it was so sweet.

I am a rather huge Lifehouse fan, and one of my favorites is an acoustic version of Take Me Away. If you have not heard it, you can get it off Limewire I think. It's fantastic. It may be our first dance, or might be You Belong to me, the one Jason Wayde sings from Shrek, or it might be 'First Time I Loved Forever' from Beauty and the Beast, and last my not least, 'Feels LIke Home' - Chantal Kreviazuk. Still can't decide! You and Me is good as well, but its been overused. but than again its is Lifehouse! Somebody by Depeche Mode is good too.
