So have any of you girls picked what song will be the first one you dance to with the new HuSbAnD ???
I would have liked to use 'our song', but it's Luther's I'd Rather and the lyrics talk about leaving you sig other for another person but then coming back to them so I dunno if it's quite wedding material.. Hahaha
To stick with the Luther theme (I absolutely adore this man...RIP), I'm thinking of using Here and Now... everytime I hear it, I am in tears I also love his duet of Endless Love with Mariah

We're dancing to Etta James-At Last...
It was the very first song that we danced to the night we got engaged. We were on a boat and I had just gotten off the phone with my mom telling her that I had gotten engaged, and the band singer belts out, the first At LAST!! Me and FH get up, we were the only ones on the floor, dancing and crying. People around us were clapping.
It was so perfect, and that was one of the only parts of the evening he did not plan. We both agreed that it was God telling us that after all that we have been through in our lives, At Last we were here together and we were getting married.... With out any question, we knew this was going to be our wedding song!!!
What a beautiful story!! I love that song also

Bill & I choose 'When You Say you love me' by Josh Groban - When I asked him to listen to it he had tears in his eyes & turned to me and said - all i could think of was us dancing together!
Im actually performing to the same song this weekend in my final performance... dedicated to him

My FH are going to be dancing to You and Me by Lifehouse...... I think I have all the songs picked out already to dance with all, my mom and my son! My FH laughed when I told him what I wanted to do for when everyone gets introduced.... if interested FM and I'll let you know. You can tell me what you think.

Jordan and I chose 'I'll Stand By You' by The Pretenders... but we may change it... the only reason we chose it was because he was going through some really horrendous stuff and i kept saying i'll stand by you, and then i went through some bad stuff and he said the same thing and blah blah blah... i dunno.
