So have any of you girls picked what song will be the first one you dance to with the new HuSbAnD ???
I would have liked to use 'our song', but it's Luther's I'd Rather and the lyrics talk about leaving you sig other for another person but then coming back to them so I dunno if it's quite wedding material.. Hahaha
To stick with the Luther theme (I absolutely adore this man...RIP), I'm thinking of using Here and Now... everytime I hear it, I am in tears I also love his duet of Endless Love with Mariah

So we are dancing to 'Precious Love' originally by Marvin Gaye and redone my D'Angelo and Erykah Badhu...its a great song! perfect! You should definitely listen to it if you are unsure of what ot use!

I really do like that song, but the part 'heaven must have sent you from above' Me and FH are sooo not like that, we'd prob burst out laughing... Please dont take that the wrong way... I'm sure it fit you guys perfectly

Thats a beautiful song ... too bad it reminds me of my father's death and I can't stand to hear it because my father died in 9-11-01 but it is a beautiful song!

Awww NOoOOoOO!!!! We'll look at it this way... FH proposed to me by getting me pissed off on purpose just to push my buttons, make me go just about off the edge, and then completely shock me by getting down on 1 knee... We are like the most unromantic couple ever... Something extremely sentimental would never fit us

I heard this song in one of our fellow LIWer's wedding videos Queen's You're My Best Friend(knew the song b4 but it fit perfectly with the video)
I want to include that song somehow since we really are best friends - prob above all else!

We're dancing to Etta James-At Last...
It was the very first song that we danced to the night we got engaged. We were on a boat and I had just gotten off the phone with my mom telling her that I had gotten engaged, and the band singer belts out, the first At LAST!! Me and FH get up, we were the only ones on the floor, dancing and crying. People around us were clapping.
It was so perfect, and that was one of the only parts of the evening he did not plan. We both agreed that it was God telling us that after all that we have been through in our lives, At Last we were here together and we were getting married.... With out any question, we knew this was going to be our wedding song!!!
