I originally wanted to dance to truly madly deeply by savage garden but listening to it the other day it is a little fast for a slow dance so I am goingto ask my dj if they can slow it down but if they say no I need help from you girls... I suck at song and remembering names so if you can tell me what song you are using also if anyone has top lists of songs people use that would be great

JMO, it would be difficult to dance to. Perhaps you could walk into it or you could use it as a 2nd spotlight dance.

mm.. are you working with a dance teacher or are you free dancing to the song? hubby and i chose a kind of difficult song (eres todo en mi by ana gabriel) but our dance teacher was able to choreograph a nice dance for us. i was thinking that if the song got too difficult, we could move it to after the 1st dance where the bridal party joins in.... if the savage garden song's difficult to dance to, maybe you can use it as a bridal party dance

How about I knew I love you before I met you by the same group? I think its a lil slower in tempo and just as pretty

If you love the song, i say dance to it..there is no rule saying the 1st dance has to be REALLY slow... i think its a nice song!!

I love both of these songs. If you practice dancing to 'Truly, Madly, Deeply' and feel comfortable enough, I say go with that. If not, are there any other songs that are special to the two of you? FH and I are dancing to 'Love Song' by 311.

We are dancing to Luther Vandross ft. Mariah Carey - Endless Love. I like Truly Madly Deeply a lot but I do feel its too fast as well. Have you guys practiced to see what its like?

no lol....I guess we have to see...But when I did searches for weddung dress songs it is listed so I thought it would be nice...Cascada also does the song in a slow version I dno if it makes a diff in slowness

I love that song!! Ours is a little fas too so FH found a slower acoustic version. You maybe able to slow it down or find another version that is slower. That song is so pretty!!
