First dance song HELP

Hey all,
Well one of these days I will get my story up here, but the deal is I am married. Have been for 12 years. We had a super small ceremony. Small celebration.
We never had our wedding because I was 17 and he was 19 at the time. We were kiddies :) I barely spoke his lanuage, he barely spoke mine. But we were madly inlove, and still are.
Anyway, now we are planning our big day, finally after many years of laughs, tears, big and small obstacles.... no children yet

Our wedding is at the Swan Club, 11/7/10.

My question is we have a song for our first dance (shania, you're still the one) but it is so common thought maybe we could find something a little different that described our rare story. If ANYONE has any suggestions, I would REALLY appreciate it. Thank you :)

How about 'Heaven'... there are 3 versions though (Old Bryan Adams Version , The Candlelight Version by Yanou , & there's also a dance version by DJ Sammy)

Thank you! We are looking into all your suggestions. We also were thinking of 'Remember when' by Alan Jackson. Beautiful song.

there's a song by John Denver with absolutely lovely lyrics 'For You' but you sorta kinda have to be ok with John Denver cause I haven't seen any other versions. but I like it. you might want to try listening to it or see the lyrics.

We actually thought about having this and we love it but we felt like our relationship was less like, eventful lol so it didn't really fit us for the first dance but I think it really would for you!! Ehh see what you think, HTH!
