Re: First Dance Songs

You guys should sit down together, type into a google search 'wedding songs' and listen to some of them. Then you guys can come up with one that is truly unique for you guys.
Our song was Truly Madly Deeply by Savage Garden, but it had special meaning for the two of us.

Other love songs we asked to be played at the wedding were...

You say it best when you say nothing at all - Allison Krauss or Notting Hill

You look wonderful tonight- Eric Clapton

The way you look tonight- Elton John

i like michael buble everything, or barry white first, last, everything- but according to FH, we would have to do some 'serious dancing' & he says i have been watching too much dancing with the stars

he likes some kenny rogers song- lady... is soo corny lol

Ours is going to be Sea of Love by the Honeydrippers. We live in Long Beach and he proposed on the beach. The only downfall of the song is that it was in some old horror movie where the villian would kill people and then leave the song playing on the record at the scene. But whatever I love the song.

That was one of our top picks and we're def playing it at the wedding, but I didn't know it was in a horror movie!! haha I still love it too

We decided that our song is going to be Never Tear Us Apart by INXS.

Re: First Dance Songs

Does anyone have any suggestions for any 'original' first dance songs? We're definitely not into country and want something from our generation. We want something like Lucie Silvas - Nothing Else Matters. But his cousin already used that for their song. I like Josh Grobin, but he thinks EVERYONE uses his songs. ANY help would be SO APPRECIATED!!!
