First Dance Songs

At Last by Etta James.
It's fitting because I will be 41 and FH is 45 on our wedding day, first marriage for both of us.
Second song, where everyone is invited to dance, will be Taking You Home by Don Henley.

Does anyone have any suggestions for any 'original' first dance songs? We're definitely not into country and want something from our generation. We want something like Lucie Silvas - Nothing Else Matters. But his cousin already used that for their song. I like Josh Grobin, but he thinks EVERYONE uses his songs. ANY help would be SO APPRECIATED!!!

We wanted to use 'Sweet Child O'Mine' since this was our song when we dated fifteen years ago but we think we're going to be announced into the reception to that instead and end the reception with it as well so we can dance to it.

As for our first dance, I just heard 'God Bless the Broken Road' last week and want to play it for FH. I cry every time I hear it-the words ring so true for us as we dated fifteen years ago and now we are back together.

Also want to dedicate 'Far Away' by Nickelback to FH at reception.
