What are you using for your first dance? Are you having two songs, one for just the two of you and one for the BP to dance to? Thanks!

We are going to have the first with everyone joining in. I was thinking of doing a fast song to get the party going right away....we wanna have fun! And then after the cake, having a slow spotlight song. We're thinking 'My First, My Last, My Everything' (Barry White)....and then maybe 'Just the way you are' (Billy Joel) or 'By Your Side' (Sade)

I think we're going to have one for us (Edwin McCain's 'I Could Not Ask For More') and then one for us & bridal party which I guess everyone to join in on. Not sure what we're using for that one though. Maybe 'The Best Is Yet to Come'

We did two because I thought our first dance song (The Wonder of You by Elvis) wouldn't be long enough for the photographers to get the pictures we wanted so we did a second song for everyone to join in (Can't Help Falling In Love) and kinda think we would have been fine just doing one.

We did two. Ours (Someone Like You by Van Morrison) wasn't long enough for everyone so our BP and parents danced our second song Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton.

we had 2...our first song was 'Have a Little Faith in Me' and the BP joined in half way through (I didn't want this, but the DJ said because it was a long song, people would get bored, etc.) and then for EVERYONE to dance as couples, we did 'I could not Ask for More' by Edwin McCain because I felt the song portrayed my feelings....I couldn't ask for anything more than to be surrounded by our family and friends....

our dance instructor freaked when i said everyone would join in so we're having a slow then a somewhat faster one for everyone to join in. 'True Companion' then 'Lovely Day' (which has always really been 'our song')

We had two... The first was 'it's your love' by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill and we danced for about 2 mins then the BP and Parents were invited for the rest of the song.. then the second one (which I wanted as OUR song but I let him pick...) that's when they asked everyone to come up (couples) and that was 'Me and You' by Kenny Chesney.
The DJ should give you suggestions if you want a second song but just can't think of one.
I was thinking of just us dancing to the first one, but Hubby wasn't too fond of everyone staring at us for 3 minutes or whatever... and on the day of the wedding, I agreed... It was a little scary... cause they are ALL looking at you..
