I have begun the search for the RH. Today my fiance and me went to look at Flowerfield and Cap't Bills (two very different places). I really loved flowerfield, and the lady (Lynda) who helped us was very helpful! I checked out Cap't Bills because it is very close to me, and i love the food there. Both places were great, but i really really liked Flowerfield.
I was thinking about having the wedding in February which would allow us to use the seasonal package that includes florist, (lovingoven), Photographer (patken) and other various add on's. Is this deal too good to be true? I hope not!
Any feelings about Flowerfield?

Just wanted to say that when I went to see Flowerfield, I loved it! It was my second choice but it was too expensive for me (I'm getting married in May) and I really wanted to get married on the water instead. I know there are a few brides on here getting married in February there so hopefully they can help u out with more of their experiences with them!

Yay flowerfield! We booked them because of their promotional package. it really was the only way we were going to afford the place lol. it sounds too good to be true but so far so good! we booked our CP's with lovin oven..we're having 12-14 calla lily's in a tall vase that the guests can take (the vase included, usually you dont take the vase). we did however book teh rest of our flowers with a different florist. we booked with patken and for our video plus upgrades we're paying a cheaper amount then we would with a diff photog because of all the stuff that is already included. flowerfield is amazing..outstanding food and everyone you talk to has nothing but great things to say about the place. i went to a wedding there last year and it was beyond gorgeous!

oh and i have to add that we got a better deal on limos and a dj since its winter time so its their slow season so they were more willing to discount our packages

flowerfields was my top pick but it unfortunately didn't work out. it is so beautiful and the food is amazing. the best wedding i ever went to was at flowerfields.

You are getting married in Feb which after Jan is the cheapest month to get married so that is a great package. I wouldnt be nervous you get a lot for what you pay for when you get married off season, that is why we are getting married in March.

They offer that same package at Land's End too, if you'd like to look around more, since they're the same owner. BUT the good thing about that package is that the vendors are really great, we booked Land's End in the summer so we're not using the package but the florist in the package is our favorite we've seen, Patken is a good reputable photographer and the other vendors I remember being really good too. We almost booked in February because of it.
