I have my first DJ appointment tonight with Body Rock Entertainment, they are a preferred vendor of my hall. They were also the DJ that my FSIL used at her wedding 3 years ago-I remember them being really good and the MC that she had was very energetic. Hopefully it goes well.

So I am back, for a dj/mc for ceremony, ch, and reception with their minimal lighting they gave me a quote fo $1895..
Or dj/mc for ceremony, ch, and reception with the Intel lighting they gave me a quote of $2295
I didn't get pricing for anything including the plasmas or give aways because i wasn't interested in having any of those
This is the firs DJ i have gone to, so does anyone know if these are good quotes

I think that is a little high...but that is based on my dj...I am pretty sure that I am goign to use him for the wedding too...He quoted someone like $1700 for dj, mc, and lighting...but i think hes negotiable

I think that is the average pricing for DJ's. Most DJ/MCs cost around 1700-2000. You were at the bridal show last night right? I haven't really gotten a chance to look but a bunch of the Dj's gave price quotes in the their folders! As soon as I have time I plan on sitting down and comparing prices.

they showed me a dvd sample of their work, plus i've been to a wedding that they did and they were really good there.
I haven't gone through all the information that i got from the show last night, but i'm just wondering what is a good rate

Im biased but I recommend Vinny from High Voltage, i used him for my wedding and could NOT have been happier...and his price is almost unbeatable
