first dress fitting - holy cow!!

I just went for my first dress fitting at Lillette's.

So they measured me like a year ago, and they said to order a size 8 pettite. now, i AM a size 8 in street clothes...so for a year i've been panicking and worrying that it wouldn't fit, it'd be too small, etc.


well - i got there today - put it on...and the dress fit PERFECTLY and needs ZERO alterations!!! can you believe that??? the only thing i have to have done is the bustle (which is gorgeous by the way) she told me to order pettite because then hopefully i wouldn't have to have it hemmed, and i didn't!!! i am in a state of shock.

pictures to come in the next few days if anyone's interested - Lillette's is freaking FABULOUS!!! GO GERRI!!! she is the measurement queen.

that's awesome! we ordered my dress one size up just in case, so i know it will need alterations but they did a measured length, so hopefully they got that spot-on!

that's amazing though, you get to save so much $$$

Yes Gerri was also my bridal consultant.. she's simple fabulous

Glad that you don't have to do anything more than a bustle- the alterations can get pricey
