First dress fitting, NOT GOOD

So i went tonight to try on my dress, i was happy with how it looked and loved it, except its too short!!! It had to be measured hollow to hem, and it was measured and inch too short, and it came in a 1/2 inch too short, even with a smaller heel it doesn't look right,
I was annoyed with the seamstress she kept telling me once its pressed it will drop lower, but thankfully one of the salesgirl agreed with us and got the owner, they are going to callthe company and try to get a new one, they claim it can be done in a week, girls wish me luck, my wedding is in 49 days and i am freaking out,

Sounds like you have them on your side - which would have been the bigger battle. Don't worry - I am sure they will get the new dress in soon!

I have the same dress - my hollow to hem came in two inches too long so it had to get sent back - they said it would only take a month (and my wedding is not until july so thats not a rush)

definitely have that dress sent back!

Ughhh.....I'm sorry to hear about that....Hopefully, the store will get you a new one. Hang in there! By the way, I'm a dress twin!!! I LOVE it! It looks beautiful on you. I can't wait to wear mine in 11 days!! My fingers are crossed for you.

I had a similar situation where my dress was too short and I was beside myself. Luckily I dealt with the alterations manager and she fixed my dress and it's perfect! I went for my final fitting tonight and the dress looks wonderful and I still get to wear my 3-inch heels!!!!!
