Are there any specific questions I should ask at the first doctor's visit (7 weeks)? Should I assume that my doctor will go through more of the timeline of my pregnancy in terms of appts? Thanks.

My doctor gave me a 'schedule of OB visits' which described what happens at each one. You may want to ask about the different tests such as the Quad Screen, blood work, ultrasounds etc. Also, some doctors feel differently about alcohol/caffeine consumption, you probably want to ask how she/he feels. Just some suggestions...

You should let them know if you are taking any prescription drugs...

Def. find out about caffefine, over the counter drugs
(this helped me alot...my dr gave me a list...and I havent gotten stomach bugs, headaches, and have been attacked by allergies ever since Ive become pregnant, thank God for that list!)
I asked about hair dye, and the different kinds of tests...I wouldnt assume they'll go over everything... but usually any questions you have are just a phone call away...

My Dr. didn't really go through too much, so if you have ANY questions ask them, I read alot of pregnancy books too so that helped.
