well i just found out what the first event will be that we're going to attend as husband and wife. Its the day after our wedding 5/18 . We just found out 2 days ago, its our jr bm's communion and the mother is fh's first cousin, the cousin fh is the closest to. He told me he wanted to ask her to be a BM and i said no problem so he called to ask her 2 days ago, it was sweet when he asked her, she got very emotional. I think she was definitely surprised and didn't expect it.

But yup we have an event to attend the day after. Fh said we'll be out of it but we'll be there. I can't even imagine the condition we'll be in but should be interesting

That is actually pretty exciting and think you Jr BM will be pretty tired herself. It will be an adreneline rush for everyone!

I think they will understand if you don't stay for the whole thing but I think it is sweet of you guys to go even if it is just for a little while and I am sure it will FH's cousin and her daughter's day!

Our first event will be Thanksgiving (right after we get back from our Honeymoon!) and then my good friend is getting married in early December!

thats a crazy weekend for you and his family Atleast maybe some people wil have pics for you to loook at.. ahh its our year and its going to be a crazy one..

can i be a smart a$$ here - i say don't even go to bed - no one in the family - including communion girl! no showering no changing - just show up in your dress!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats the whole thing, we didnt book our HM yet. If we go to italy as planned, one flight i was looking at leaves at 9pm on 5/18...so i told fh, it should be fine as of now to go to the communion but if we leave the next day its going to be hard. I know i was thinking OH WOW its our first event we'll be husband and wife. And if ppl who don't know us ask,oh how long have you been married, our answer will be '24 hours'

WOW! I thought ours was soon after - less than a month after is FH's cousin's wedding!

i know, my first reaction was 'are we expected to attend' but thats wrong...maybe my hair and make up will still look good the next day and then i can get more use out of it

OMG THATS AWESOME!!! I have one the weekend after we come back from our HM- its a communion too

i had a feeling this would happen...i realized after we booked that we did it the month when they do all communions. But that will be great, as soon as you come back from your HM it will be you and your husband attending

yeah i know, i was thinking about that too shes gonna be so exhausted for her own communion.

Yeah the first second i heard it i was like 'wait we're going?' but then i was like yeah we have to go, we can't miss this its our jr bm and fh is real close to the mother, she even lived with his family for a few years. So i dont want us to miss it, should be interesting though.

Awwww perfect, you have your HM and then come back and have your official introduction into the world as husband and wife

hahaha i know, she gets to get all dressed up to be a jr bm which she is excited about and then again the next day...she'll feel as special and fabulous...its so freaky bc our Jr bm looks just like FH but with a wig its crazy, even their baby pictures look identical hahahaha

I was the MOH for my sister...the next day we had to sit through a confirmation.....it wasn't pretty.....but they were glad we came.....i wouldn't have missed it for the world....although my head and my feet wish that i did lol

well it might be just what was available i guess. The Jr Bm's birthday is a little bit before our wedding so maybe that had something to do with it and also when it was available at the church, theres only 4 dates for her to choose from since its only in may

yeah and its at 3pm so not like we have to wake up real early. Well labor day weekend of this year i am a bm in a wedding and then the following day we have another wedding to attend, but you just get through it
