I had my first fitting Saturday. I went to Phyllis at Bridal Elegance because of all the great things I heard about her on LIW and how cheap she is. She quoted me at $375. Do you think that’s too much?? I am getting the dressed hemmed, a simple bustle where the tail is gonna be brought up to only 1 point, the corset part of the dress made a little tighter on top, bra cups sewn in to the top and boning put in the corset part. Does this price sound right? It sounds a little pricey to me.

I DONT THINK SO. MY DRESS WAS ALMOST 2.5 SIZES TOO BIG AND I AM GETTING THAT TAKEN CARE OF ........DOUBLE FRENCH BUSTLE.......HEMMED...TIGHTENED....CUPS.....AND STEAMED FOR $275 WHERE AT ANOTHER PLACE IT WAS GOING TO BE OVER $500+

if you didn't get her dress from phyllis then no. I've heard people paying up to $800 for alterations...its robbery. but $375 doesn't sound that bad and you know your dress will be in good hands with her.

YEAP YOU ARE RIGHT MY INITIAL QUOTE WAS OVER $500 AND I ALMOST HAD A STOMACH ATTACH RIGHT ON THE SPOT
