is tonight and my shoes aren't fixed. (I broke the heel off on sunday). I'm going to try to wear a shoe with a similar height and hope it works out.

that should be fine ... they only need it for the height.

agreed. and if they are taking it in at the sides, they won't do the hem until your next fitting. i actually changed heel heights between the 1st and 2nd and it was fine.
