So I decided to try another salon for makeup- I went with airbrush and I LOVE it!!! It was done at Lumara NY Salon on Broadway in Massapequa. Any comments, suggestions? Should she amp up the eyeshadow on the big day? Darker lipstick?
And....the moment you've all been waiting for....my first fitting!! I LOVE Francesca! She is awesome! And I hardly have ANY alterations to do- just a bustle and some stays! That's it! $30!!! I think my face looks a little oompah loompah ish in these pics- or am I crazy?
Check out my GORGEOUS cathedral veil! I think I might love it more than the gown!

TARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE the new makeup! You definitely glow a lot more with this one - your eyes REALLY pop! The whole look is so much nicer ... and I LIKED the other one! Just that this one is better! And I'm sure there was no smell with the airbrush foundation! The only thing is maybe a tad deeper lip color (or a little less frosty) but it looks so nice!
And your dress!!!!!!!!! SO PRETTY and the fit is PERFECT! You're going to look so amazing on your big day.
Annnnnnd you just reminded me that I never placed my order for my cathedral veil with Kathy at Obridal!!!!!!!

yeah the lipstick might need to be darker...it's hardly there now. Do you think she should amp up the eye shadow for the big day or is it okay? She did say she went a little easy on it so that i wouldn't be scared with how much she did...
Does my skin look oompah loompah- ish? It looks so orange to me with the bronzer- is it okay or is it jarring?

Wow Tara! The makeup really suits you much more. Like you said, you absolutely do glow! You look really happy with this and thats all that matters!
...Hopefully it doesnt smell like last time!
And you look AMAZING in your dress!!!!!!!!!! I love all the detail and your veil is so pretty.
If you mean youre makeup is too dark when you say you feel like you look oopma loompaish- lol...just make sure you tell your makeup artist to use a slightly lighter shade of foundation day of.

The foundation is fine- I think it's the bronzer! I'm so not used to having a bronze look cuz I'm so pasty white- like Casper!

Darker eyeshadow? Hmm, I don't think you need it darker. I like it as is. She can add a bit more color to give you a more dramatic look if you want (I think with your eyes it would look nice, so either way it's nice - as is or with more color).
Skin does not look orange at all to me. If anything it looks pinkish, but not orange. I've been studying your pic, , and I really do like it so much better than your first one. The only things that I would suggest are to (1) use a deeper pink lipstick - but not like the one in your first trial, that was too dark - and have it be a bit more glossy, less frosty, and (2) see if she can use an eyebrow shadow that is a bit more taupe-ish; your eyebrows look like a darker color than I've seen in your other pics when you don't have them filled in, so I think maybe she used a color for dark brunettes instead of the more neutral medium/dark taupe that goes well with light to medium brown hair.

love love love that dress! and i think your make-up is great - i am a huge fan of airbrush myself! i love your eyes - it's natural looking, but the color makes them pop!

Tara- You look stunning!!! I love your makeup in these pictures. I think it is perfect as is!!!! (you do not look oompah loompahish-lol) If you look at your picture of you in your dress and viel looking right at the camera I don't see any orange on your face...it looks natural but still 'pops'..beautiful!!!

And I think you're makeup is much better this time! Your eyes really pop. I would go only slightly darker on the lips.

Wow! I see the difference now! Honestly tho, I think you look fantastic in both trials HOWEVER I can see why you werent happy...I have to say that you look amazing! and you in the dress..wow!

You look amazing!! I love this trial so much better than the last one because it really shows off your amazing eyes!! They are going to pop in pics!! My only suggestion would be to pick a lip color that is less frosty. I had frosty in my trial and I didn't like it. I think a pink gloss would look fabulous!!
You fitting went so fantastic! What a phenomenal figure you have!! Your dress is so elegant and romantic! And your veil is gorgeous!! You are going to be such a breathtaking bride!! Can't wait for pics of your big day!!

The dress is really beautiful! Your make-up looks very natural. I like it alot. Yes, you def need a darker lip color especially for the pics. I think your eyes look great- how about some fake lashes to really make your eyes pop? Other than that I think you look mahvelous!
