First Fitting- just one photo

hey girls!
So I had my 'first fitting' yesterday. I was really bummed and wasn't going to say anything about it but my facebook friends have cheered me up.

My dress was really big on me, the seamstress was annoyed that I lost so much weight and is giving me another month to finish what I want to lose before touching my dress. I'm really nervous and hope that they will be able to take it in and still maintain the beauty of it. Fingers crossed.

My REAL first fitting is next month....for now, here is a photo of me seeing it for the first time- it's totally clipped in the back- my sister managed to hide them.

I can't wait!

and dont worry seamstresses work magic!! it will be just as beautiful!! and you will look great...

not that its a wedding gown, but my mom bought her dress off the rack at a half off sale it was a size 12! my mom is a size 4!!! and it looks amazing!

I was told they can go down up to 5 dress sizes...so I'm sure you will be fine. Esp if she gave you extra time to lose more weight before she begins working on it!!

Congrats on losing the weight!! How much have you lost so far??

Gosh, I hope so!

I had torn cartildge in my knee in October so really did not start exercising again until May. It took forever to heal! I've lost 15 and have dropped 2 sizes. I'm hoping to go down 1 more...2 if possible.

Ugh- injuries totally stink!

Same here! My moms was off the rack from Bloomies and it went from a 12 to a 4.

You look great! The seamstress will do a fab job, so dont worry about it too much. Just focus on dropping those last pounds before the next fitting.

Its absolutely beautiful. I love how it sparkles. Good for you losing all the weight that you wanted and continuing to do so. Too bad for the alteration lady, she will just have to deal with it.

YOU LOOK GREAT!!

and that dress is perfect for resizing bc it doesnt have a crazy strange pattern that makes it hard. . that's why some are harder to do than others, ones that are more like tiles. . does that make sense? You will be fine and WHO CARES that she has to take off more. . you go!!!
