First fitting, NO PICS THOUGH
So, first off, thanks to the ladies who were supportive and encouraging yesterday, I did go to my fitting. FH offered to drive me and do some errands while I got fitted because he didn't think I should be driving with a blinding headache and nausea. I felt better toward the end of the day and headed out to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa for my very first fitting!
I tried my dress on in February when it came in and it was lovely, but for some reason it was EVEN MORE LOVELY last night! It needs a lot of work in the bust/strap region and there are a couple of oddities with the dress (the ribbon is lopsided in the front, etc.) but I LOOOOOVE my dress. I brought all of my DOJ and veil/headpiece to make sure everything went together, and I might be biased, but I think I looked lovely. I am so, so thrilled and happy right now, and so glad that I went!
I didn't take any pictures because I had all of my accessories with me and it felt a bit strange to document the exact outfit I will be wearing in 52 days. Apparently I'm superstitious and didn't know it till last night. Anyway, I'm thrilled, and I just wanted to share.
