I am only 16 weeks but i cant wait to feel those first flutters! Every time I feel something there I think is it the baby or is it gas??? Will I be able to tell the difference??

This is my first preg. and I am 17 weeks yesterday.. I have def. felt the flutters. It is such a different sensation than anything I have ever felt before.
It kinda feels like butterflies in your belly, right where the baby is..
At least that is my experience.

At 16 weeks there is definitely the possibility that what you are feeling is the baby!! Like Kimmy said, it does feel like butterflies very early on! It's wonderful! My little girl had the hiccups ALL the time. To me, it felt like she was tapping on my pubic bone. It took me months to figure out they were hiccups! Congrats!

I never felt 'flutters' mine felt more like bubbles. You may be feeling your little one!!

Mine felt more like pings and pangs. Your can very well be feeling the baby. At first (and with your first pregnancy) it might be hard to tell, but I promise you there will be no mistaking it soon enough.
