First hair and makeup trial PICS- desperately need opinions!!! ETA: added more pics!

OK so I had my first trial today. Alexis from Smart and Chic Bride did both my hair and make up. She was super sweet and I feel she listened well but the end result I'm not thrilled with. I don't know if I didn't communicate well or just what I thought I wanted I don't...I LOVE the back of my hair, need help deciding if it is better bangs down or up....and I don't think the make up does anything for me?

This is only my first trial so I'm learning what I like I guess....need thoughts and opinions please! Be BRUTALLY HONEST! TIA!

ITA with you... I LOVE the hair but I would go for another makeup trial but I don't know enough about makeup to tell you why.... maybe the eyes look heavy? Does that make sense??? Sorry I'm not much help.

I think the hair is really beautiful. As far as the makeup, I think it's too dark for your wedding day. You have a beautiful, youthful face and that makeup makes you look older than you need to. I would definitely have another makeup trial with a different artist. Or if you really hit it off with this person, have the 2nd trial with them and tell them you want a softer look using more pinks and neutrals than browns and grays. Good luck!!

totally agree i think its too dark.... it does nothing for you!!! But the hair looks awesome!!

I actually don't mind the make-up but you have such gorgeous blue eyes and they don't pop like they should. I'd go to a different make-up person altogether.

But I love the hair, especially with the bangs pulled back!

agree..I would def. go with a lighter lip and eye

I love the hair!

I think the make up could make your eyes pop out more so I would retrail with the makeup

I LOVEEEEEE your hair, and you have beautiful eyes. HOnestly, the makeup is ok, but I would try someone else. Really love the curls though!

I dunno why but I think a person can't be good at both..JMO

The hair is GREAT.
Make up is not.

love the hair!!! i actually like it with the bangs, but it also looks great with them pinned back.

don't like the makeup - not the right colors for you. not sure what are (i'm so bad at that) but not those. especially not the dark lips.
