First Love

My first and only true love was my husband...

However when I was younger, I had a crush on this guy who lived in my neighborhood. Oh man did I think I was in love with him. My best friend and I always used to be outside all the time just waiting to see him. He used to come out and sit in front of his house and smoke and we always knew what time he usually came out. Then this one time I remember him ringing my bell because he was returning a tie he borrowed from my brother. I was in total shock, I'm sure I probably acted like a geek (I don't really remember what I said to him)...But I remember holding on to that tie for hours!!!!!!!!!!

It was my DH when we were 15. And here we are together almost 12 years!

I 'thought' I was in love a few times - at 16 and in my early 20's. I can honestly say DH is truly my only love though!
And just to clarify, after awhile I told them I didn't love them - so it did't count.

17 - freshmen year in college. I ended up dating him for FIVE years, but then I broke up with him. He didn't handle it so well, and I think I devastated him, considering that he has refused to speak to me since then!

This may sound a bit corny but It was when I 1st started dating FH and I was 20. I had other BF's that I said I love u too btu realized I never truly meant it until I said it to FH
