First post-D&C check-up

First post-D&C check-up

So happy!!! The Dr. says the pathology showed a perfectly 'normal' embryo, no genetic or chromosomal probelms detected -- which is a big relief to me at my age. I am hoping that his means next time, God willing there is a next time, everything will be normal and will STICK.

We can also get back to making whopee but he wants us to use a condom for the next 3 cycles (DH hates them), and then to try again.

I am sooo happy that everything seems to be OK and I should be in working order soon -- now I AM looking forward to my period!!

Did they find out the cause of the miscarriage ?

Whoopie, yeah baby yeah!!
DH is in CA on business but Wed. I go to meet him....yahooo!! ANd I can drink in Napa, so things are not so bad after all.

No, they couldn't say what caused the m/c, but it was only 6 weeks gestation so very early on - I think losing the first one affected the sac of the second according to the Dr. Next time we'll just have to use some crazy glue!!

God hear me and let there BE a next time -- I figure if I stay optimistic there will be!!

Kara, I have to say that you are such a wonderfully upbeat, incredible woman and I truly use you as my inspiration anytime I get down about the subject of TTC on a whole. If you can remain this hopeful and positive after what you've gone through, I have NO reason to be b!tching at all!

That said - I am so happy that your doctor gave you a clean bill of health and that they determined there was no genetic abnormalities, etc in the embryo ..

For now, I am SO wishing you lots of fun getting back to whooopie and lots of BD and STICKY dust next time you are offically back on the TTC wagon
