First Response(Update)

I was wondering if anyone has gotten a very faint line when using this test. I went off BC in Oct. We decided to start trying in Jan. Now AF usually came between 29-32days. Well I took the test on Sat morning and got two lines one being extremely light, could hardly see it. Today is day #36 and still no AF. What do you think????

I'd say YES your PG!! Try taking a different test...maybe one that says PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT...there will be no mistaking that!! I had the same thing happen to me, a faint line ...and I went and bought the one above and saw a big PREGNANT!!

I agree with the others... I'd say you are PG. I took EPT tests 3x, and they all came out faint... 14 weeks later... I'm still waiting for Aunt Flow.

I think it's safe to say I'm PG...

I think you are preggo!!! Congrats!
The only way to get a line at all is by producing the pregnancy hormone... If you see one, even if its faint, I would take that as a positive result!!!

Re: First Response

I hate to mention this, but I have to say -- I did get an extremely faint line (if you squint and hold it under certain light, etc, ect) with First Response once, and I was not pregnant. May have been an evaporation line.

Of course as the others say, it could also be good news. I'd say give it a few days and test again.

Re: First Response

I made have a dr appt on 3/1. I am going to take the test on Sat agian to see if the line got any darker. Ok so what should I avoid besides Sweet and low, caffine, achohol, and smoking. I am actually a little worred because I was on vacation last week and I had at least two drinks a day. I hope it didn't affect the baby if I am pregnant.......

Re: First Response

I would just not drink or smoke... Also dont eat soft cheeses that may have bacteria, like blue cheese, feta cheese... Caffeine is ok to have as long as you dont go over board... and cut back on the tuna fish.
I wouldnt worry about the fact that you drank, from what I understand the baby doesnt get its nutrients from you until it implants itself...

It was very helpful to me when I first found out I was pregnant!

I got the same exact thing and all I can say is a line is a line! It was very faint and DH thought that I wasn't, but after reading through the instructions, it even stated that one line may be fainter.

I took the First Response and had the same experience... a VERY faint second line. I waited a few days and took it again and the line was VERY dark! It sounds like you're PG, congratulations and good luck at the doctor's appointment!

Btw, when you see the doctor, they'll tell you not to worry about things that you'd done before knowing you were pregnant. I myself had some drinks on two separate occasions, and that never determines damage. What would affect the baby is if you'd drink the entire pregnancy. So don't stress anything you'd done before finding out. Just make sure to take care from now on.

HAPPY PARENTING!
*Crossing my fingers that you are definitely PG!

Well I retook the test yesterday and it is pretty clear that I am pregnant. Now I just have to wait for my Dr appt on 3/1. Can anyone give me an inside scoop on the first dr appt? I am alos freaking out of what to not to do or eat. Can I eat Deli meat? What about Crystal Light, I read something about not eating anything with asparatame???? Can I bleach my facial hair?? What if I have a headache? My brian is going crazy...... But of course we are very excited to welcome a new member of our family in Oct. I am also looking forward to getting some cute maturnity clothes

Congratulations!!

My doctor told me I could eat deli meat as long as it's from a place that I trust. I usually nook it in the microwave for 30-45 sec before I eat it.

As for aspartame, drs are not sure of the affects, so my doctor told me to use it in moderation. I use equal for my cereal and she told me it was OK to have a dieat coke once a day.

For headaches, Tylenol is usually what is allowed. Confirm with your doctor.

Congrats on the wondeful news!!!

I went for my first visit at 8 weeks and aside from the the long list of questions and the do's and don'ts of pregnancy, I had an internal sonogram and got to see the baby and his or her heartbeat , and got a printout of the sono.

Keep us posted!!!
