Last night we celebrated Valentine's day at the Water's Edge. We chose to celebrate here because we wanted to check it out for our wedding. How fitting that we look at our first venue on Valentine's day We loved it!! The view of the Manhattan skyline alone is worth 10 stars. We met with the banquet manager, Kathy before dinner to have a look around. She was really nice and made sure we had a great night. The staff especially Victor and Scott were so attentive and the service was excellent. We ordered the surf and turf and our filets were cooked perfectly, to die for delicious! My fiance loved the place. We want to check out a few more places before committing but I could totally picture having my wedding here. So excited we made the first step

I looked online a that place and LOVED it. It was just to out of the way for us. Can you FM me any quotes you have. I am curious if it would have been in budget for us. It looks so beautiful.

Waters edge is beautiful. You can't beat the view. I've been there for a few times for work functions. Just wondering do they include the ferry service for the wedding?

Thanks girls! I don't have a quote yet. We just wanted to check the place out but we still haven't decided on when exactly we want to have our wedding or even made a tentative guest list..We will go back for quotes once we get our butts into gear, lol. How was the food/etc when you went for your work functions? I'm not sure about the ferry service but I will ask next time I talk to them. I can't wait to hear about your friend's wedding Mrs2012!

I loved that place but have so much family really far out east that it didnt seem reasonable to have our wedding there. Also I think I remember seeing some prices and realizing it was a little over budget. Lucky lady, it's beautiful there!
