First Time Dress Shoppers Today

wanted to see how it went for everyone today since it seems like there were a few of us that tried on dresses today.

i had a good experience and think i've found my dress but am going to try a ton more on to make sure. definitely figured out which dresses DON'T look good on me.

how'd everyone else make out today?

I went Sunday for the 1st time!! A little overwhelming but a great eperience overall & loved every minute of it!!

We went to Village Bridal and they were so accomodating and polite - loved the experience. Definately made progress bc I actually liked things I didn't think I would and came out with 2 possible dresses that I really liked!

Hope your shopping experiece was great too!!

I went Saturday to Amsale in the city. I am in love with the first dress I tried on, however just like you I want to keep looking. I booked an appointment with Bridal Reflections and Iman in Brookville. It's seems silly to keep looking because I can't stop thinking about that dress I love.

I went dress shopping for the first time yesterday with my mom and MOH. We went to David's Bridal. Tried on about 8 gowns. Out of those 8, there were 4 that I liked, with one possibility. I made another appt for Aug 21st. Ive been on Jenny Craig and have already lost 12 lbs so Im hoping to loose another 15 lbs by the appt so I can get a better idea with the dresses. In the meantime I will look else where. Also my MOH tried on a few dresses too. So overall a nice day. Glad to hear everyone else had good experiences too!!!

The dress was by Christos and it was called Catherine. Strapless and all lace. Very light fabric and straight lines

I loved Amsale. Very personal and professional. The selection was limited because the price range on alot of the dresses was over $10,000. They do have price ranges between $3,000 and $10,000. My mom mentioned checking out Vera, let me know how it goes. Did you ever hear of 'IMAN' in Brookville?

Will definitely keep you posted. Have you checked out Vera's White collection at DB? There are some great dresses and one in particular that I've fallen in love with. Haven't heard of Iman but I think the more places the better to try on dresses at.
