first wedding gifts arrived!!!!

we have 3 registries (which I thought was too much, so I didn't mention the third one to anyone who might organize a bridal shower)... #3 was a small registry at cooking.com with a few difficult to find items which are primarily for me... stuff I would love to have in my dream kitchen...

my good friend from college is in Iraq (and will still be there during the shower / wedding ) She went on our webpage where all 3 registries were still listed... knowing my cooking obsession, SHE BOUGHT EVERYTHING OFF THAT REGISTRY

She knows I'm such a kitchen dork.... I'm the only person you'll meet who could get excited over a giant meat cleaver or a boning knife.......

I miss her though

I have several friends deployed right now too. It's really tough not having them near and knowing they are safe.

friends like that are awesome!! Yeahhh for presents...i leave the kitchen stuff to FH...i am hoping people buy me powertools off my Home Depot registry! haha...

thats so nice, maybe you can send her a pretty little photo album that you and put together after the wedding and a wedding favor, Im sure she would really love that and it would really cheer her up, it has to be rough for her right now and that was so thoughful and sweet, its just a thought...
