OK... so FH has an OBCESSION with going on those party boats out of Caprtree and go fishing. He JUST told me that's where we are going tonight...AGAIN! I dont mind going once in awhile, but this summer we went waaay too often. But I want to go tonight only b/c his father is coming too...and I looove his dad. We all have such a fun time... Talk to you ladies when I get back... The next 5 hours I'll be on a boat...yay again. ha

We went once last year and I loved it! I kept catching small sharks! I had no idea how long you're on those boats for though! I think it took us like seven hours!

I went with my day camp out of Captree every other week when I was young (12-15 yrs. old) I had a blast!!! I'm not sure how many dates I could have on that boat, but my FH is a fishing maniac too . . . . then again, so am I. He was surprised what a good fisherwoman I was (I told him Long Islanders were some of the best, but he had NO IDEA).
Last night was SUCH a WASTE!! ONE person on the whole boat caught something..AUGH! I HATE when it's a lousy night...and where ever our boat was takin us, there was not another fishing boat in sight...so we found that odd. But, anyways, I had alot of bonding time with my FFIL... so it was worth it.

Nope. I haven't been living up there in over a decade! But I went a lot when I was home. The fish in the pic is from FL. Sorry the night wasn't too successful, but fishing can really be fun.
Doing a private charter, just you and the FH, for 'the big ones' might get you more into it. If I recall, we fished mostly for fluke on the Captree boat . . . . but the one in the pic is a Mahi Mahi (Dolphin Fish) and she was delicious!!! Yummy!
