Fist Dance Songs?

My FH and I don't have a 'song!' We don't want our first dance to be to a traditional first dance song. Any suggestions? We were thinking Ben Folds 'The Luckiest' but I dont' like some of the lyrics. Help!!

I am almost positive that out song is going to be 'Love of a Lifetime' by firehouse....We fell in love with it the first time we heard it.

When I Look into your eyes is also a nice song by firehouse.

The Ben folds song is a great choice as well. I saw him in concert.

We're doing 'Your Song' by Elton John.

I wanted something a little less traditional, but FH shoots down all my suggestions, and we both really like this song, so...

Plus it was his parents wedding song. When we told my FMIL she started to cry.

We're still up in the air. Our 'song' was For All Time by Soluna but it sounds little kid-ish to me now, its too pop-ish lolz...and a song that has a lot of meaning to us is 'Love of my Life' by Jim Brickman, but since we can't choose between the two, we're thinking maybe a whole new song? lolz

Our song is 'Love of a Lifetime' by Firehouse as well.

We also consider our song to be 'Hanging by a moment' by LIfehouse - but this is our dating song.

Love of a lifetime will be our 'Wedding song'

I love this song too... all but that one verse - we are doing Jack Johnson, Better Together

Why don't you have your dj splice it or fade into another song?
