Sounds good. I try to hit the gym once on the weekend since I give myself a weeknight off. Today my goal is to complete 35 minute interval jog/run. It's usually a 5k including the 5 minute cool down. Then I'm going to work out my arms a bit.

Going to the gym straight from work. Hoping to do a straight 30 min run and some light lifting.. Shouldnt be too bad.

I admire people who do this so much. It's a routine I've tried to get into often, but cannot get myself moving so early in the morning.

It works the best for me! I never thought I would be the one to go before work but I love coming home straight after work! It took alot of getting used too but I love it now

I have a baby shower too! But on Sunday. And a BBQ tomorrow. I just hate going to things like that because when don't eat alot because there isn't much healthy things to eat I get looks and everyone asks, 'why aren't you eating' so I just started eating before I go and then say that I don't feel well so I'm not eating lol

Fitness Check-in 9/28

Aside from wanting to continue loosing weight (I've lost 45 pounds since January and want to loose another 21ish) I have a Fitness test to become a US Customs Officer hopefully at JFK. Its in about 9 days and I need to do a bunch of different physical tasks which I am fine with since I've been working on getting fit since January. However I need to do push ups and I cannot for the life of me do freaking push ups the way I need to! You need to hit a block that is 4 inches from the ground and I can't get that low! I've been doing push ups when I wake up, before bed, during work, in the shower I'm dreaming and obsessing over it. This is such a huge opportunity I'm going to be so upset if I screw up because of a silly push up. I'm not sure other then push ups and planks and light lifting, what else can help build up my arms that quickly. I'm trying not to get negative but I'm loosing faith that I can do this. Didn't mean to write that much its just nervous ramble.

Oh and I only found out I needed to take the test in 9 days yesterday. I knew I had to take the test but I didn't think it would be till after my background check was done which can take 5-6 months so I thought I had a lot more time.

I lost 2.8 lbs this week! And I biked 5 miles today! I really love bike riding, so even though I was gone a little over 45 minutes, it really didn't feel that long, and it DEFINITELY didn't feel like 5 miles!

Re: Fitness Check-in 9/28

did you ever think of getting a few personal training sessions before the big test and tell them what u need to accomplish and have them put you on like a arms crash course or something??

all i can think is keep trying to do them exactly as you will need to do them...set a box up and just keep trying...the only way you can start to do it is by trying and working at it....
