Fitting

Hi Girls,

Had my fitting last night and the dress was too tight...they have to let it out. Anyone have to do this for their dress? I didn't even tell FH....too embarrassed.

Not yet, but I will be right there with you when my dress comes in. it was super tight when i ordered it but i didn't get the next size b/c I said 'ah I'll lose 10lbs by then' Um yah, didn't happen.

Your dress will be fine. The seamstresses deal with this kind of stuff all the time.

my 1st fitting is scheduled for saturday and I haven't lost as much as I thought either... we shall see

That is my problem...I was suppposed to lose 10 pounds and said I would....nope...I am up like 4 instead

You are right, the seamstresses deal with this all the time.

at least they can fix it for you! thats whats important! FH has to chase with with nachos and chips cuz mine was just barely fitting and they cant take mine IN....i would rather it be to small cuz then i can loosen the corset.....:( It will look beautiful on you!! promise!

My dress was snug at all my fittings. I didn't feel 100% comfortable in it, and I kept telling myself if I lose even like 2 lbs that will help. They weren't able to let my dress out, so I just had to deal. Day of my wedding, the dress fit like a glove! It was like a miracle happened lol. Maybe I lost the 2lbs when I stopped trying to. Don't worry, you will look beautiful!

I heard that from the stress and excitement of the wedding, you lose a pound or two right before.

It will be fine. They can let it out for you. I think comfort is the most important thing.

Don't worry about it! The seamstress will take it out a little and you will look gorgeous!!!!

Do not feel bad - I have my dress already and honeslty believed I would lose weight ...i did but gained it back...we are who we are and will all look beautiful on our wedding days !!!
