So I went to get my wedding dress fitted yesterday for my first fitting and when she was taking the dress off of me, she stabbed herself in the vein with a pin and BLED ALL OVER MY DRESS!!!!!!!!!
I was so shocked, I didn't know what to do! She said they could get it out, but what should I do? Call for confirmation? Ask for some money back? Any advice you have would be great! I'm still freaking out!
(Edit - The seamstress is totally fine and I didn't mean to seem heartless about it. We were both freaked out at first, but she was able to get it to stop pretty quickly. It was just after she got it to stop that we were both like - oh crap! The Dress!!!)

WOW??!
Is she okay? i hope so....i mean i dont know how easy it is to get blood off of a dress I would think its NOT easy. I would definitly call for confirmation! I dont blame you i would also be freaking out! And if it doesnt come out, she should step-up and say since it was an accident and her fault, she should put in an order for a new dress for you.

Call to see if it's come out and don't just take their word for it... get down there and see for yourself that it's out! And if it's not, YES! get your money back and/or order another dress!!!
That SUUUCKS!! Good luck!

I would make sure to microanazlyze that dress. If it doesn't all come out then I would demand a new one. Also, make sure whatever she uses to take it out doesn't ruin the fabric!! Wow...im sorry that happened...

Oh and yes - she's fine. I didn't mean to seem heartless! I was really worried about her at first, because I thought she would pass out, so we tended to her, but then once it was clear she was ok, I realized that what she had been bleeding on was my dress!

Call for confirmation and then, once they say it's been cleaned, make an appt to come in and carefully examine the dress. you can get blood out of white fabric but you really have to get to it right away and delicate fabric is harder, so you really want to make sure it looks perfect. otherwise i'd demand a new dress. it ***** because it was clearly an accident but also clearly the shop/seamstress's fault so they owe you if that dress doesn't look exactly right. i'm so sorry this happened to you and I hope it turns out ok!!

OMG!!!!!!
Well, the first thing to do is find out how bad it is.......and IF they can get it cleaned. If they can't get it cleaned on time or at all, then they should be responsible for covering the cost of your gown and getting you a new one RUSH!
PLEASE keep us updated!!!!!!!!!
PS. I really hope your seamstess is OK too......being pinned in the vein and all

WOW! Thats just something you see in the Ben stiller movie.
I am so sorry that this happened. I would have them confirm it in writing that they will get it out. As well as what they will do if they cannot get the blood out.

Call to confirm that it was cleaned and then go and look for your self... Don't pay for the cleaning either b/c it wasn't your fault

I would call and make sure everyone (aka her and the gown are ok). Did this happen at the place you bought the gown? They'd be responsible for rush ordering you another I bet if they stain didn't come out.
what a disaster!
